These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ThatsMethedUp (the "Site"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Site.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Site.

What the Site Is

The Site is a headline aggregator for methamphetamine-related news: arrests, seizures, court cases, and the policy around them. We collect headlines published by other news outlets, group the ones that report the same story, and link to the outlets' own articles. The outlet named beside each headline wrote it and is responsible for the article behind it. We do not write news, we do not host the articles, and the appearance of a headline on the Site is not a statement by us that its contents are true.

Content Disclaimer

• Headlines belong to their outlets. Each headline is reproduced as the outlet published it, for the purpose of identifying and linking to that outlet's article. We may shorten an outlet's name for display.
• No claims of our own. We publish no reporting, commentary, summary, or image of our own on headline pages. Where several outlets cover one story, the story's title on the Site is the headline of one of those outlets, not a description written by us.
• Automated grouping can be wrong. Articles are grouped into stories and sorted into sections by automated systems, including machine-learning models. Those systems make mistakes: an article may be placed with the wrong story or in the wrong section. Grouping is a navigational convenience, not an assertion that the articles are related.
• Source counts are what they say. A "sources" count is the number of outlets we found covering a story. It is not a measure of the story's accuracy.
• Single-source stories. A story shown with one source is one outlet's report and has not been corroborated by another outlet in our collection.
• Timeliness. Headlines are collected automatically and may lag, be updated, or be withdrawn by the outlet after we collect them.
• No endorsement. The inclusion of any outlet or headline on the Site does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation by us.

Archived stories. Stories published before September 2026 remain available in the Site's archive. Those older stories carry a rewritten headline and a short AI-assisted summary drawn from the linked source, and some include an illustration that was generated by artificial intelligence. Those images are illustrations, not photographs, and should not be taken as a factual depiction of any event, person, or place. No AI-generated image or text is used on the Site's current headline pages.

Corrections and Removal Requests

If you are the subject of a headline and believe the outlet's report is inaccurate, the correction is the outlet's to make and you should contact them; we link to the outlet's article for that reason. If you believe a headline has been misattributed, grouped with an unrelated story, or should be removed from the Site for another reason, contact us using the details below and we will review it. Publishers who do not want their headlines linked from the Site can ask us to stop.

User Conduct

When using the Site, you agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others
• Post or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site or servers or networks connected to the Site
• Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent
• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the Site other than through our published RSS feed and sitemap
• Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Site

User Comments and Submissions

The Site may allow users to post comments or submit links. By posting or submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display that content throughout the world in any media.

You are solely responsible for the content of your comments and submissions. Comments are moderated before they appear. We reserve the right to remove any comment or submission that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is otherwise objectionable.

Intellectual Property

Headlines and articles linked from the Site belong to the outlets that published them. Our selection, grouping, and arrangement of headlines, the Site's design, and its software are owned by us and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may share links to the Site freely.

Third-Party Links

Nearly every link on the Site leads to a third-party website that we do not own or control. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party website. You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any content, goods, or services available on or through any such website.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall we, our directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Site
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Site or on a site we link to
• Any content obtained from the Site
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no warranty that the Site will meet your requirements, be available on an uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free basis, or that the headlines we collect are accurate, reliable, complete, or current.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use the Site after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Site.
