Man on meth breaks into California jail, gets arrested
Why This Can't Be News:
Another day, another genius-level decision made by someone who's clearly "methed up". I mean, who wouldn't want to break into a California jail while high on meth and thinking there's an armed person chasing them? Sounds like a solid plan to me! According to the San Mateo Daily Journal (because we all know that's where the best news comes from), Moises Dona Robles, 35, decided it would be a great idea to climb a fence and enter the Maple Street Correctional Center's second-floor patio. I'm assuming he didn't realize it was a jail because, you know, he was too busy trying to outrun his own paranoia. The officer who spotted him initially thought Robles was an inmate, which is honestly pretty funny - I mean, who wouldn't want to be mistaken for a hardened criminal? After being informed that he wasn't actually in the slammer (lucky him!), Robles proceeded to claim he had been drinking and didn't know where he was. Bless his heart! It's almost like he thought the whole "breaking into a jail" thing would be a fun adventure, only to realize it wasn't the 21st hole at Pebble Beach. The officer, being a good Samaritan (or just really bored), decided to take Robles down and arrest him for his... creative decision-making skills. Now, I know what you're thinking - "Why should we care about some dude getting arrested for breaking into a jail?" Well, let me tell you, folks. This is exactly why #ThatsMethedUp exists. We need to call out these kinds of ridiculous stories and remind everyone that, yes, meth can make people do some pretty wild things. And by "wild", I mean "stupid" and "potentially dangerous". So here's a round of applause for Moises Dona Robles - the winner of this week's "Most Creative Excuse to Break into a Jail While High on Meth" award!
